History of Fur Feast

Fur Feast is an annual Thanksgiving themed potluck held near Wichita, KS. It was first held in 2009 at a local tea bar called Zoomdweebies. After a 3 year hiatus it was restarted and held at Sheba’s apartment complex’s clubhouse. It has since been moved to Lake Afton. It’s 10th year was to be in 2020 but due to the covid pandemic it was postponed until 2023. It has evolved into a two day event that includes the big feast, a movie, and a lock-in overnight. The following morning is breakfast and more time to socialize and have fun.
